Begur
A hilltop castle village with a string of beautiful coves below.
Costa Brava · Girona
Begur sits inland on a hill crowned by a ruined castle, with five or six coves scattered below it — Sa Riera, Aiguablava, Fornells, Sa Tuna.
The village's Indiano mansions, built by returning emigrants to Cuba, give it a character unlike anywhere else on the coast.
Begur sits on the Costa Brava in the province of Girona.
